The Website we will create for you contains all the basic Website content.
In general terms that is:
WHO we are,
WHAT we do,
WHERE we are.
Then we will set the design for your Website.
Your Website needs to be easily understood by your customers and they need to be able to find their way around in a logical, intuitive manner. Ease of use for your customer is our uppermost consideration. It is important that the design is clean and crisp, you do not want your Website visitor being distracted from your message and purpose by pointless flashy design. Your Website needs to be instantly recognisable as your Website by incorporating your organisations look and feel. (Logos etc.)
We will then help you enhance the base content to include your "Hook". ie why does someone deal with you rather than another organisation? What is it that makes your business attractive to your customers.
Website Pages
This step includes identifying what pages are best for your Website. Don't be tempted to put too much in your site just yet.
Examples of Pages you may wish for your website:
About Us, Contact Us, Specials, Links, Testimonials, Products, Services, Events, Downloads.
Your Website - Stay in Control
Then we will help you take control of your website visitors. You need to lead them to take the action that you want.
Webinators strongly believe that a successful website is one which you can manage yourself. In our experience Websites that are not maintained by the owner, quickly become out of date and forgotten.
This is why we use a simple Website system that is easy for you and your staff to use. We include in our service a 1 hour training session. By the end of that session you should be able to update and modify your Website on your own.
If you prefer we can tailor a maintenance program for your website based on your projected needs.
This is the point where Webinators basic service is completed. Your Website is now live and published on the internet. If you are not delighted with your new Website, Webinators will do whatever it takes to make you happy. If we cannot then you will not be asked to pay for the Website.
Webinators are happy to assist in the following steps. We will discuss your needs and expectations and will provide you with a tailored solution.
Now is the time for you to objectively and critically review your site. You need to take some time to review your site from your customers perspective. Make sure that your Website attractively represents your business. You should not proceed to the next step until you and your staff are happy to enthusiatically and unreservedly show your site to your best customers and suppliers.
It is very important that you can keep track of visitors to your site. You need to know where they came from, how many are visiting, did they respond to an advertisement, what pages do they view etc. The establishment of accurate Website monitoring is an enormously effective way of making sure your advertising dollars are well spent. (Over 70% of potential new customers will visit the website before they contact a business they have seen advertised in any media)
You need to have site statistics in place before you approach potential advertisers in step 7.
Now that your business has a new asset it is time to maximise the return.
You need to think about the options available to you.
These include on line sales, Specials pages, printable coupons, products like Google adsense, on line bookings etc.
Your suppliers may also pay to advertise themselves on your website. (Just as they do in the Yellow Pages when you include their details on your advertisement.)
You also need to think about the networking possibilities available to your website. Linking to other Websites and having them link to you is an effective and inexpensive way to attract new customers and enhance relationships with existing customers and suppliers.
This is the final step.
Why do we leave this till last? Basically there are three reasons.
The first 2 are time and money. Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) can take a considerable amount of time, and as a consequence money. SEO is a complex and dynamic area. There are many different strategies that you can employ. It is important to determine the correct ones for you.
The 3rd reason is due to the way the vast majority of people use the internet. Studies have shown that your Website has less than 10 seconds to hold the interest of a visitor. If they do not like your site, or it does not contain what they were looking for, they will leave (and because your site is stored by their browser) they are unlikely to return - ever.....
That means that it is pointless (and probably counter-productive) to spend time and money attracting people to your website, until your website has something of value to show them.
